When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. If you sign up via Google OAuth, we receive your name and email address from Google — we do not receive your Google password.

When you use your admin dashboard, we store the portfolio content you enter: your bio, project details, links, and other profile settings needed to power your live portfolio.

We automatically collect certain information about your device and how you interact with our services, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and pages visited.

We collect referral codes you use at signup and track referral relationships for the purposes of our referral program.

We use a session cookie (HttpOnly, Secure) to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

We use the information we collect to process transactions, deploy and host your live portfolio on Getfollio Cloud, provide customer support, and improve our services.

We may use your email address to send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, verification links, password resets) and occasional product updates. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time.

We use referral data to track and reward successful referrals under our referral program.

Our on-site AI chatbot uses the content of your messages to generate responses. These messages are not stored as part of your permanent account data.

We never sell your personal information to third parties.

We share your data only with the following named sub-processors, each bound by data processing agreements:

Stripe — processes payments for users outside India. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on Getfollio servers.

Razorpay — processes payments for users in India. Your card details go directly to Razorpay and are never stored on Getfollio servers.

Resend — delivers transactional emails (verification, password reset, purchase confirmations) on our behalf.

Cloudflare — provides the global edge infrastructure that powers Getfollio Cloud, where your live portfolio is hosted. Cloudflare may process request logs as part of normal CDN and DDoS-protection operations.

Turso — hosts the database that stores your account and portfolio data. Your data resides in a physically isolated, dedicated database instance — it is never shared with other Getfollio users.

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

Transaction records and invoices are retained for up to 7 years to meet applicable tax and accounting obligations, even after account deletion.

Cloudflare infrastructure logs (request logs, DDoS signals) are subject to Cloudflare's own data retention policies, independent of your Getfollio account.

Passwords are hashed using bcrypt before storage — we never store plaintext passwords.

Authentication tokens are stored in HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Strict cookies, making them inaccessible to JavaScript and resistant to XSS attacks.

No payment card data is ever stored on Getfollio servers — all payment processing is handled directly by Stripe or Razorpay.

Each user's portfolio and account data lives in a physically isolated, dedicated database instance — your data is never co-mingled with other users' data.

Your live portfolio is hosted on Cloudflare's global edge network, protected by up to 500 Tbps of DDoS mitigation — one of the largest DDoS shields available.

Getfollio maintains the following compliance standards and trust certifications:

GDPR — We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation for all users in the European Economic Area. You have full rights over your data including access, correction, and deletion.

SSL / TLS — All data transmitted between your browser and Getfollio is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS. Every portfolio hosted on Getfollio Cloud includes a free, auto-renewing SSL certificate.

PCI-DSS Level 1 — Payment card data is handled exclusively by our PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processors (Stripe and Razorpay). Getfollio never touches, transmits, or stores card numbers.

Safe & Secure Checkout — Every checkout transaction is encrypted end-to-end and processed through certified payment gateways.
